The SCC and Center have been working with the DGLVR Advisory Workgroup over the past year to propose some significant changes to the DGLVR Program Administrative Manual and Policies. The DGLVR advisory workgroup completed discussion on the initial proposed changes in September, and just this week we completed the review with PA Department of Agriculture legal staff. The next step in the process is to open a review/comment period for all Conservation District Staff. The comment period will begin on Monday 11/10. Similar to Justin’s session at the workshop, the webinar will step through and highlight some of the major proposed policy changes. It will also discuss the review process and provide access to the documents so you can start the review. Comments from CDs will be due by 12/31/25, with the hope the new policies become effective July 1, 2026.
