Details
ESM trainings are an intense two-day classroom session focused on providing the knowledge and tools necessary for road owners to maintain roads in a more cost-efficient and environmentally sensitive manner. In-person ESM are open to both new certifications and those seeking a recertification.
Some considerations for in-person ESM Trainings to address social distancing issues:
- Doors will open at 8:00, class will run both days from 9am to 4pm-Day 1 is in the classroom (9am-4pm) and Day 2 is in the field reviewing completed projects.
- You must attend both days of the same training for ESM certification.
- Breakfast, snacks, drinks, and lunch will be provided.
- Please do not attend if you have any flu-like symptoms, or you have been exposed to someone who has flu-like symptoms or that has tested positive for COVID-19.
- Please note that additional restrictions or even cancelations may be required in the future base on guidance from the State or Penn State University.
