The CDGRS would like to congratulate and welcome Roy Richardson as the new Dirt and Gravel Road Program Coordinator. Roy will be starting as Program Coordinator on November 4th, filling the position formally held by Karen Books. Roy’s office will be located at State Conservation Commission in Harrisburg. Roy currently works for the State Conservation Commission as a Conservation District Program Specialist. Roy has experience working with conservation districts in the Nutrient Management and Plan Development Incentives Programs. Roy also has experience as a construction inspector, primarily on structures and practices associated with environmental issues. Roy worked for over 7 years as a Nutrient Management Technician for the Bradford Conservation District in the 1990’s. Roy is familiar with GIS and is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Forest Technology.
