Products

The Center and Program maintain a list of environmentally sound products such as dust suppressants that are approved for use under the Dirt and Gravel Road Program.

The Dirt and Gravel Road Maintenance Program was founded on solid environmental principles. One of these principles is the program’s strict limitations on the use of any products that may cause damage to the environment in any way. Listed below are the products approved for use and purchase with program funding. These products are approved by environmental standards, not performance standards.

The guidelines below are intended to guide product suppliers through the Dirt and Gravel Road product approval process. The current version of the Product Approval Procedure was approved by the Pennsylvania State Conservation Commission on July 12, 2017.
