Bedford County

Bedford County’s Dirt, Gravel and Low Volume Road Maintenance Program provides grant funding to local municipalities to reduce stream pollution through improved maintenance practices on unpaved and low volume paved roadways. The Bedford County Conservation District encourages all county municipalities to have road maintenance staff attend Environmentally Sensitive Maintenance training to understand how better roads mean cleaner streams.
