Clinton County
The Clinton County Conservation District has been administering this financial and technical assistance program for local municipalities since 1999. The goal of the program is to fund safe, efficient, and environmentally sound maintenance of critical sections of dirt and gravel roads , and new in 2015 to include Paved Low Volume Roads, that are having an impact on our local streams through sediment pollution. We focus on projects that target portions of roads that are critical to preventing sediment from entering our streams and addressing erosion and stormwater runoff issues.
