Potter County

Potter County Conservation District aims to remediate watersheds that are negatively impacted by sediment loading from unpaved roads. The collaborative stream enhancement venture dedicates grants for road owning entities to mitigate loss of sediment from roadways. Projects to improve stream quality and road infrastructure involve partnership with Townships, Boroughs, PAFBC, PA Game Commission, and Penn DOT. The Low Volume/Dirt and Gravel Roads improvement initiative promotes the preservation of water resources for future generations.
