Columbia County

The Columbia County Conservation District provides a competent staff to work with municipalities to eliminate erosion and sediment from reaching streams and waterways within our county from township roads. If roads are not maintained properly they become sources of pollution to neighboring streams and waterways. Funding from the PA Dirt, Gravel, Low Volume Road program provides funding to assist municipalities with this maintenance.
